Firefox and IE7 unable to open sites, Yahoo, Google, Altavista

OS: Windows Vista 32 Bit Premium Built in upgraded to SP1



certain sites are unable to be opened on my account on my dad's account for some reason websites are easily accessible i was hoping that you would be able to help me out by pointing out why i am not able to open sites on my account like yahoo opens sometimes but yahoo tech almost never opens unless i redownload firefox
