Thanx for the link starjax but i'm still getting virtual memory errors using dreamwaver and photoshop, i think prephaps something might be wrong with clipboard application but then again would that prompt virtual memory errors? i've tried pretty much everything i can think of to correct this problem but nothing seems to work any other suggestion would be great !

Even though your system is well within the guidlines recommend by adobe, I would look at more memory.

your pc can run a maximum of 2 gigs or ram. It won't hurt and certainly would help the performance of the system in general.
