Hi,
My question is about norton antivirus, hope I have the right section. When I click on the help and support in nav, it displays a message that says: NAV recommends that you refresh your IP settings. What exactly will that do? I'm really not a computer geek and would like to know what that means. The reasopn I went to help and support is because my weekly scheduled scan was not happening and wanted to ask them why, and that is when I got the above message. Is this safe to do? I recently had a problem with my IP address disappearing on me and it took 3 days to have someone from verizon finally help me get it back. I appreciate and help.

Thanks
