Do you mean that it won't auto-run it or not at all?

Try right-click the CD
Choose open.
Find the EXE.Installer, double-click it and see if it will run from there.

Hi

I assume its only Diablo you have problems with, and not other CD's or DVD's.

Does the DVD drive spin up as if it was going to read it?

Does the CD contains deep and/or many scratches?

Also, I found this page. It is full of possible fixes with CD problems relating only
to Diablo2. Seems you're not the first one to experience this.

Hello,

With Diablo 2 you need to run the installer in XP SP2 Compatibility mode for Vista.

    *Start
    *Open Computer
*Right click on the CD Drive and select Explore
*On the Setup.exe file Right click select Properties
*Under the Compatibility tab check the box for Run in XP SP2 Mode and also check the box for Run as Admin
    *Click Okay

Then try running the installer. Should run then just fine.

Cheers,
Mak
