explorer.exe problem with vista help me!

OS: windows vista ultimate
hi everyone

im new to this site and migth not knw wat is requied off me so i can get some help so please help me if u can.

at this moment in time in am running windows vista ultimate, the problem i have is as follows:

every time i try to open any window browser, be it be my computer or my document the browser window, icon and the start toolbar jut disapper, leaving me wid just my wallpaper. in order for me to make them to reapper i open up task manager and run explorer.exe. i hv to do this every time i open any window browser and it on top of that i cnt access the any files for more then 2 secs.

so if anybody knows how to help please let me know
