Hi! my name is abhishek. I have windows XP installed in my home PC. Somedays ago due to some virus or malware my computer started showing low space warnings. Although i have 3 gb file on a 10 gb drive the space remaining is shown as 300 MB. And same for 3 other drives. This is driving me crazy. I tried every possible way except formatting as i have imp files there and don't have time for complete formatting. I have used AVG, Avast, Spybot no one could help. Done cleaning temporary file, defragmanting, shutting down system restore all but no help. Please suggest.

Hi virusabhi and welcome to GeekstoGo!

I suggest you head over to the malware forums. Read this thread first.
Following what is outlined there you will get rid of at least the majority of your malware problems.
If the problem still persists post a Hijack this log in this forum for the experts to analyze.
If it has been 3 days and you haven't received help, post in the waiting room and someone will get to you.

Just a heads up ... replying to your own thread will likely make you wait LONGER as it makes you appear to be receiving help already.
