I was wondering what's the best CPU cooler for my AMD phenom 9500 quad core processor. It is a AM2+ 940 socket processor. It needs to be quiet and keep it cool cause the one I currently have in there is awful. My max limit is 30. Thanks everyone! |

If you aren't overclocking, the Scythe SHURIKEN seems to be the best bet for your price range for quietest operation.

Unfortunately, Tigerdirect doesn't seem to carry any Scythe HSFs, which are typically the best choices for silent cooling. However, here is a list of sites that carry the Scythe SHURIKEN. You can take your pick.
