OS: Vista

I have a HP Compaq 6720s Laptop running Windows Vista. Since Friday, I have been unable to logon as my normal user as everytime I try, the screen freezes on the 'Welcome' windows with the blue Vista circle spinning round which sometimes stops and other time just keeps spinning. I have since been logging on in Safe Mode With Networking but the features are limited and I don't have a clue what to do sad.gif Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Seb

Hello,

It sounds as if your profile is corrupt. Either that or it has some updates that have not yet finished installing. You can always create a new profile to see if you can log in that way. If so you can import your old profile.

That talks of Windows XP but it will work for Vista as well.

Cheers,
Mak
