Have a Dell Opti-plex SX270 running XP Pro SP2 with CTX VL700 Monitor. We recently did a clean install but the original backup driver disc is not available. In Device Manager the yellow exclamation is showing under other devices which are Multimedia Audio Controller and Video Controller (VGA Compatible). The sound adjustments in Control Panel are also grayed out. Contacted Dell and Microsoft with no results, so we decided to come to where we always get results. Thanks

Charlie

you need to download the drivers for your video card

go here and either choose your model number or enter your service tag, then go through the suggested drivers and get the one for your video card and your sound card
