Hi there did you uninstall Avast! or something? The log shows that files from it are missing...
Please open HijackThis again and choose "Do a system scan only". Please put a check next to each of the following entries (if still present): R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://sandeep-verma.blogspot.com/ R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Window Title = Sandeep Verma F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscript.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\snake.exe.vbs O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file) O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing) O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: @xpsp3res.dll,-20001 - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing) Now please close all open windows except HJT and press "Fix checked". Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.
Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
Note:These logs may be too large to post in one reply, if so, please post extra.txt in a seperate reply. |

Hi again,
We still need to disable it temporarily as it can conflict with our fixes. You have a few worms that spread through USB drives, do NOT use your flashdrive or USB drive at the moment, please tell me in your next post if you already have used it and/or if you have a USB device/Flashdrive First thing I need you to do is uninstall this old version of Hijack This: HijackThis 1.99.1 Then, * Click here to download HJTsetup.exe
Next, Fix these entries with Hijack This again R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://sandeep-verma.blogspot.com/ R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Window Title = Sandeep Verma F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscript.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\snake.exe.vbs O9 - Extra button: Research - {92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263} - (file missing) Now please open Notepad by going to Start > Run and typing Notepad.exe in the window that pops up. Press enter and in the notepad window that appears Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+P) the following: QUOTE REGEDIT4 Note: it is important to copy this with the spacing left as it is, also make sure "REGEDIT4" is the first thing in Notepad (No spaces ahead or anything).[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\mountpoints2\{2cde290d-61a0-11dc-a060-0019d20c59c6}] [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\mountpoints2\{89d7251b-54b5-11dd-a33e-000fb0cea8b6}] [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\mountpoints2\{eb05ce22-7de5-11dc-a0d8-000fb0cea8b6}] In Notepad click on the "File" menu > Save As... Under "File name" type Fix.reg and Change "Save as type" to All Files ![]() Now double click Fix.reg. A pop-up will appear asking you if you want to import this to your registry click yes. Then, 1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop.
CODE Begin copying here: Files to delete: C:\WINDOWS\system32\SSVICHOSST.exe C:\WINDOWS\SSVICHOSST.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscript.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\snake.exe.vbs Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system. 3. Now, open the avenger folder and start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon.
