For what reason would someone have to go through my websites with Paros/3.2.13?

I understand Paros is a program for checking your own sites for vulnerabilities, but is there a reason for someone to run it on other people's sites? Is it for hacking? Snooping? What?

Thanks!

contact your host to make sure they were not running a scan and make sure they know a scan was being run against your site. Yes, I believe this could have been used by someone looking for a vulnerable website. It looks to be a legitimate tool for checking security. However, as with all good tools, it can be used maliciously.
