I've executed a program thinking that it was something authentic. After the execution: Right after the execution it was like [bleep], a blue background appeared on my desktop with a yellow legend: "infected with spyware" or something like that. Different windows started to popup and I wasn't able even to open my windows explorer. I decided to reboot in safe mode and quikcly back up my important files. I did it and right after that I decided to format the hard drive. So all the formatting process was well accomplished. Then, right after starting with my session on vista 32, different "outer info" popups began to appear. After consulting some forums (this one included), I executed the outer info uninstaller and all the recommended scans. So, no more outer info popups. Thanks for that =) I need assistance to interpret my hijackthis log, in order to identify a possible corrupted entity because I have noticed that from time to time, when I reboot the computer the following happens: - Bios loading --> OK - After that, it takes more time than usual to ask for my password to start a windows session. - Then again, something unusual happens, the mouse pointer appears and dissapears kind of randomly then all the screen is black and after a while, The session begins. - I've also noticed that my system is somehow running slower (nothing critical but noticeable) I hope that with the given symptoms, you will be able to find something weird in the following Hijack LOG: The LOG: ******************************************************************************** ********* Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 5:01:13 PM, on 07/08/2008 Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.00.1904) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16386) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exe C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exe C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe C:\Program Files\PowerISO\PWRISOVM.EXE C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\GrooveMonitor.exe C:\Windows\System32\hkcmd.exe C:\Windows\system32\igfxsrvc.exe C:\Windows\System32\igfxpers.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgtray.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exe C:\Program Files\DNA\btdna.exe C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Distillr\acrotray.exe C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live\WLLoginProxy.exe C:\Windows\system32\wuauclt.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe R1 -
