I was wondering if their is anyone out here who knows how to connect my laptop using verizon mobile broadband connection to my xbox to use xbox live. I already connected them using the Ethernet Cable that came with the xbox and the xbox says the ip adress fails. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

You just need to enable Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on your laptop. That should allow your XBOX console to get an IP address and connect to XBOX Live.

For instructions on enabling ICS see Internet Connection Sharing Topic
