hi, i am sorry i cant be more exact but i wasnt the one who did this. my brother was on my computer and im trying to figure out what happened best i can from his description. ive googled a bunch of things in the last couple hours but im totally lost.

it seems he clicked an antispyware link from a site(it was addictinggames.com if that helps) and then he said he noticed the desktop turned blue.

i tried to run spybot search and destroy, it scanned all the items but as i soon as i clicked repair by computer auto rebooted.

when i click various java things i get constant errors, and the window randomly closes itself.

im able to browse the internet mostly normally.

im sorry i cant be more help, ive seen other people do this so i guess i should post a hijack this log? if i need to show anything else let me know.

the problem occured around 6am eastern this morning.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

the antivirxp08 is now gone from my add/remove list(before, if i tried to delete it i got an error)

all the problems i had seem to be gone now though, i guess it wasnt anywhere near as serious as i thought it was?

it appears everything is back to normal, ill make sure to look at some of the recommended programs to download so that i can handle it myself next time, thank you for your help.
