XP set up asking for Windows XP service Pack 2 CD, Repairing XP

New Member Posts: 1 OS: XP	I have followed the steps listed on the topic of repairing my XP operating system. I have XP media center version. I have a message that says "Please insert the Compact Disc 'Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD' into your CD-ROM drive (H:) and then click OK. I do not have the professional version on my computer what do I do?

Trusted Tech Posts: 3,512 OS: xp	you have 2 choices... borrow a xp with sp2 cd from a friend or coworker...and use it....this is the easy way or you can slipstream SP2 to your version of xp....good guide on doing this here at PC STATS This post has been edited by happyrck: Aug 24 2008, 04:01 PM
