OS: Windows XP Professional SP2 x64

Okay so here is my ordeal. I am running Windows XP Pro SP2 x64. I did some partitioning using MiniPE-XT which included making my OS parition smaller, deleting the original restore partition from the front of the drive and moving my OS to the front of the drive. I can already assume that is what caused my problems. I already had to copy over NTLDR to make it boot. Now that it boots, I get to the login screen, login and get logged out immediately. I've come across a few fixes that have not worked for me. First, I've tried doing "copy userinit.exe wsaupdate.exe" from the recovery console. I've also tried editing the registry under "Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon". The entry is already listed as "C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe". I am 99% sure I do not have any viruses or malware as it ran perfectly (and I scanned daily) before I messed with my partitions. I am sure I can get this going again I just need some more suggestions to point me in the right direction! Thanks. blushing.gif

I am not sure on that one, only time I have ever seen that was when Windows was not activated, you would log in and it would log you out.

Well I've managed to fix that problem. I did a "repair" from the XP install CD. Now I've got a whole new set of problems tongue.gif
Windows repaired the installation and changed the boot drive letter from C:\ to I:\. Now all my programs are screwed. This is fun!
