my computer is an emachines the motherboard model is AM39L
I just recently got my computer back and installed windows xp everything is fine except the sound doesn't work i get an error message everytime i log in that says "legacy audio driver was configured incorrectly" |

AMD is your processor. Look at the front panel, or side panel.
