I have followed all instructions posted in "You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log, Malware Cleaning Guide" First sign of trouble was terrible performance. I took steps to see if anything was going on behind the scenes...all scans at that time were clean. I came here and after reading your info on virus & spyware programs uninstalled mcafee & win defender, installed SUPERAntiSpyware & advanquist (sp?), uninstalled those when no problems were found and went back to my mcafee. Installed Adaware. Every time I have run Ad aware in the past 3 days it shows at least 146 infections. I have had "registry errors" every time I have re-booted in the past 2 days, lost my entire outlook data file twice, all of my desktop settings have changed several times, & every time I start up Win XP thinks it is my first time....
