I recently reformatted my computer after a virus of some kind caused my system32 to crash. I reloaded XP, but when I tried to connect to the internet, it wouldn't allow it. But I was able to connect to a wireless connection across the street. I checked Device Manager, and it says I have a wireless PCI card installed, but no ethernet, even though it worked just fine before the reformat. I've checked my specs through SIW, but haven't been able to locate any drivers that could fix my ethernet problem. Any advice?

you need to connect to whatever wireless connection you can and goto your pc manufacturers download/support page and type in your pc's model number and get all the downloads for it. Find which network card you have and download/install it for your particular pc and you should be ok.

good luck

As ViprXX kind of pointed out, you need your drivers.
Most likely they are called "Chipset Drivers". The motherboard needs these drivers to function properly.
