Freezing, such as you described, can be caused from a number of things. Sometimes it can be software related. Often it due to heat or hw failure (or both).
Lets start by getting your system specs, especially what your using for video. Next, take the cover off of your pc and use some canned air on all of the fans, cpu, video card, and power supply. If it's really dusty, you may want to do it outside. |

I agree, it could be heat related. Although, I would make sure you have the latest video drivers downloaded and installed on the comptuer. This will rule out a driver issue. I would also like to know if there is anything else running in the background and how much memory (RAM) is free on the computer. There could be a bottle neck of some sort.

I have a total of 1024 RAM Only 894 is currently being used. I have a 6150SE GeForce nForce 430, Yes it's been updated and I have cleaned all my fans out and it still happens
