dektop only shows my background picture, no icon, taskbar, & start button

before all goes wrong, i got an "open with box" appears several times. after restarting windows, all of my desktop icons, start button and taskbar are missing. only my background picture still appears.
i tried ctrl-alt-del, task manager can be opened. i tried run a new task (msconfig), but "open with box" appears again.
i reboot & starting my other windows. i found one of the topic here use exefix_xp.com to fix the "open with box" problem. and it works.
can anyone help me with my missing icon,taskbar & start button?
i already download atf cleaner, system restore, erunt, & hijackthis & ready to install.
please help. thx
