>>> I would like some suggestions for possible (reasonably priced - 100$ish) video card choices that would make my computer run mid to high end graphically demanding games such as Neverwinter nights 2 or City of Heroes on high graphical setting. When I run directx Diagnostic this is what it shows, if this helps to determine my capabilities. I can run these games but with to amp up the settings. Hi there,
Your PC has a PCI-Express x16 slot, so you should be able to pick up a Radeon HD 4670 for less than the $100 mark you're budgeting. Just be warned your current PSU may not be up to the task - if it is the original unit - and I would strongly suggest upgrading to a high-quality, high-efficiency unit. Cheers Troy |
