Hey, I am looking for some help.

My friend has a mac filtered wifi network, I also believe it is hidden. The mac adress for his laptop was punched in, and on windows vista he could connect to the network.

After downgrading to XP, the network simply doesn't show up at all. This is odd because a mac adress does not change?

The only driver that we did not install is the LAN driver, only the Wireless driver. No idea if that would be relevent enough, cause we can still see the MAC adress in ipconfig /all

Any help would be very much appreciated.
