BOClean
Anti-Trojan software
QUOTE
BOClean enables you to:
  • Destroy trojans and remove registry entries
  • Detects and destroys malicious spyware
  • Detects and destroys malicious *rootkits*
  • Disconnect the threat without disconnecting you
  • Generate optional report and safe copy of evidence
  • Automatically sweep and detect in the background
  • Protect itself from trojan horse tampering or shutdown
BOClean automatically detects and defeats spyware and malware of all kinds, and then cleans up the mess without the need for 'Hijack This' reports (and the time for many to find and get help).

BOClean's MEMORY scanning is instantaneous. Any time any process or dependency is started, BOClean stops the program(momentarily) the moment it's ready to actually start running. This allows the program to UNPACK (unwrap, decompress, etc.) in memory whereupon BOClean halts it, sniffs it and if it isn't a nasty, then lets it proceed. If it smells like a nasty, BOClean halts it completely and then throws up a box asking if you want to remove it and its entrails completely.

BOClean protects against instant-connect and polymorphic trojans same as the familiar Netbus and Sub7s.
What your antivirus may miss, BOClean will nail. Automatically.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM PRIVACY CORP.

QUOTE
IMPORTANT NOTICE! As a result of major changes in OUR "server farm" as well as necessary reconfigurations by our ISP (Logical.net) there have been numerous problems with the migration of our infrastructure to new IP addresses, routers and machines. As a result, some folks have had difficulty obtaining updates today and our email server has been down since yesterday. We BEG your pardon for the difficulties, they've already been solved. We've been in contact with major customers and internet providers to ensure that our new IP addresses have propagated to local name servers as quickly as possible, however many of the smaller or more clueless ISP's were unwilling to adjust their "DNS caches" to assure uninterrupted updating. If YOU have experienced any difficulties, we apologize.

Further details can be read on our update page:

http://www.nsclean.com/update.html

and on our BOClean support page:

http://www.nsclean.com/supboc.html

This is a one-time only issue, and if your BOClean delivers an error of "NOT connected Check connection or firewall" then it is because your OWN ISP has not updated their "DNS server" to reflect the change. As a result, BOClean's updater thinks that the failure to connect is the result of the usual "errant firewall" rather than our incredibly reliable servers having completely disappeared until such time as your ISP provides the CORRECT IP ADDRESS to our update server.

Anyone still affected by this may need to wait until their own ISP corrects their entries. Normally connections to our servers involve a DIRECT "lookup" in which case, there wouldn't have been a problem. ONLY those ISP's which choose to cache the address of our FTP site locally without checking for changes would have been affected. We'll write up more details on the above two pages shortly AFTER getting this update out first. THIS is our "higher" priority right now.
