About the AdAware and HiJackThis logs that are submitted here for expert analysis: Can they be generated in SafeMode, or must the pc be in all-up normal mode? ...wdc

For Ad-aware, you may run that in Safe Mode. We don't need the Ad-aware log here, but if you want it to be analyzed, ask in the Lavaosoft Forums instead. We just need the HijackThis log.

The HijackThis scan should only be run in Normal Mode if you want us to take a look at it. When we ask you to fix things in HijackThis, we will usually ask you to do it in Safe Mode. But once you are done, restart and go back to Normal Mode to run a new scan for HijackThis.
