is my pc dead? help!, my computer wont start at all

please help i was was listening to music on pc one night when i fell asleep when i awoke the pc was dead imean nuthing from it no beeps or sounds no lights and cant hear the fan. what can be wrong????? please help

did you check the switch on the back of the power supply to see if it had been turned off? Also, check to make sure the outlet you have it plugged into isn't fried by moving your comp from room to room and checking for signs of life.

has your computer been jostled around recently, maybe the power switch connection got knocked loose and thats why nothings happening when you try to turn it on. Also, what power supply do you have, because the problem may be that the power supply crapped out on you.
