what is "Windows XP Hotfix KB821557"?

I have a 17 of these on my computer with different strings of numbers after the KB.

I also have a strand that says "Windows XP Hotfix (SP2) Q328310", along with 12 other similar strands with different numbers after the Q....

Anyone know what this is about? THANKS!
