FireTune for Firefox 1.0.9
December 13th 2005
Fully compatible with Firefox 1.5

Version history:
  • FireTune v1.0.9 has been tested successfully on Firefox 1.5 and was found to be fully compatible
  • Since there are controversial statements on the 'Prefetcher' option of shortcuts, we have removed the 'Fast Start' option from FireTune. Although we found that FireFox started faster with that feature enabled, we decided to disable this option in v1.0.9 - in case you want that option to be enabled again and decide yourself whether that feature has any positive effect or not, change the FastStart' option in the FireTune settings.ini to "Yes" and restart FireTune
  • Some minor changes and optimization not related to the optimizations, but to the program code.
