Can't log on to Napster, for starters ...., Could this be malware?

So after exhausting all "fixes" and talking to the Napster tech staff with no benefit, and reinstalling Napster several times, cleaning the registry ... I find myself concluding maybe its malware .. Nail.exe ... etc...

Hours later I arrive at this terrific forum and I am ready to start a cleanup.

In any case, a more systematic cleanup is in order even though I have had Spybot and Ad-Aware running for the past 9 months.

So my first questions are:

Do you know if Malware can stop me from logging on to Napster?

Should I proceed to run Ewido ... as one of the Malware apps ...then HiJackThis and post it here.... wait for the Moderator/Expert to comment ....perhaps I'm too wordy so I'll stop and wait for a response.

Thanks all.

To get your computer checked for malware, start here. Follow the directions on that page and if your problem persists, post your log in the malware forum as instructed at the bottom of that page.

Good luck!

Regards,
Matt

Go Here
It'll show you what to do with HiJackThis,
Also, kindly post the log in the malware section please, not in this topic, as the malware experts check there more often.
