When I open my internet window my "homepage" is now c:\secure32.html I cannot change it by using tools, internet options, and replacing the homepage url Before visiting this forum I ran adaware and spybot (which I do every month or so), and my virus program (AVG) and they found problems, but they didn't fix my homepage problem. I then visited this forum and followed the instructions for running the above programs again, and several other programs, and the problem still exists. Here is my HiJackThis log. Thank you very much for taking the time to help me! Hi CairiH
Please download the Killbox by Option^Explicit. Note: In the event you already have Killbox, this is a new version that I need you to download. Save it to your desktop. Hijack fixes Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below. R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = c:\secure32.html R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = c:\secure32.html R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = c:\secure32.html R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = c:\secure32.html R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = c:\secure32.html R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = c:\secure32.html R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PayTime] C:\WINDOWS\system32\paytime.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Shell] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe" O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [PayTime] C:\WINDOWS\system32\paytime.exe O16 - DPF: {205FF73B-CA67-11D5-99DD-444553540002} - http://www.wildtangent.com/webdrivers/webi...ave/Install.cab Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked Pocket Killbox
If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run Killbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try Killbox again. Post a new Hijack log when done Thanks This post has been edited by loophole: Jan 5 2006, 06:53 PM |
