I have a 256 mb usb flash drive. I plugged it into my computer and transfered some files to it. Then when i got to my friends house his computer would not detect it. The light on the drive would come on for a second and then go off. Then after much trouble shooting I disabled his compact flash card reader drive and tried again. The drive worked. To my knowledge Windiws Xp supports up to Z: drive but his is only at J: , why would I have to disable a drive to add another?

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks,
Mark
