Every time my connection to the router goes down I pick up on my ranged list one other network, then that one goes away and is replaced with another. (always the same 2 names, always the same order...) So, in efforts to fix this, I setup my wireless router again for the millionth time, this time not using the default settings (IE: The program creates a router name & encryption) I set my wireless name to something I would always recignize, and I set the channel to 11, and created my own password. When I try and connect, it doesn't even let me type in a password! it just says "can't connect". What could I do to connect? I hate this wireless router... but it's all I can use. so it doesn't even give you the option to enter a wep key or anything? can you still connect to the router through the ethernet port? if you're on an ethernet connection with the router...does it allow you to connect to the net?
