Help!,when editing excel shows "No sufficient system resource

Hardware environment: Dell Dimension series 256M+P42.0GCPU+integrated display card
Software platform: Windows XP SP2+Office XP

Every time the message appeared that contains 'No sufficient system resource,could not display completely ' with title 'Micrsoft Excel' when I edited the same excel document.

I have attempted to adjust the virtual memory to high value that are more bigger than before according to a few instruction learned from other forum.However, the effect is not obvious.

How to get the final solution for this. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
