I was running the Sandra program and it brought to my attention that my BIOS was out of date. My motherboard specs are as follows:
Manufacturer: AUSUTeK Computer INC.
Model: KIRIN-V REV 1.xx
Chipset: Intel i845G Rev. B1
Southbridge: Intel 8201DB(ICH4)

I have looked at AUSUTek's site for an update, but was unable to find one. Do I have the correct information for the update? Where is a likely place I would find it?
Please help, and thank you.

I had thought I had fixed it, however I spoke too soon. I am at a loss with this, and I feel rather stupid. Here is my motherboard information (I believe that is what was needed to find a BIOS update, please correct me if I am wrong.)

Motherboard:

CPU Type: Intel Pentium 4, 2400 MHz ( 18 x 133)
Motherboard Name: Asus Kirin-V
Motherboard Chispet Intel Brookdale-G i845GEV
System Memory: 503 (DDR SDRAM)
BIOS Type: Award Modular (05/14/03)

Also here is my current BIOS Properties:

Vendor: Award Software, Inc.
Version: ACPI BIOS Revision 1003
Release Date: 05/14/2003
Size: 256 KB
Boot Devices: Floppy Disk, Hard Disk. CD-ROM
Capabilities: Flash BIOS, Shadow BIOS, Selectable Boot, EDD
Supported Standards: DMI, APM, ACPI, ESCD, PnP
Expansin Capabilities: PCI, USB

Any information would be very welcome. Thank you smile.gif
