Background on my Desktop is messed up |

http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?s...ndpost&p=629377 I followed the steps in the above thread with some success. My background is no longer red with a fake spyware ad in the middle. Now the background blinks between white and off-white. Also, I cannot right-click on the background and display properties. Can you help me with this? |

Hey..ok, do this!:
Go to Start > Run Type:
Please download fixdesktop.zip from here: Unzip it to your desktop. Double-click fixdesktop.reg When asked if you want to merge with the registry click YES. Click OK on the "Merged Successfully Prompt" Reboot your computer (your right-click should work after reboot). Right-click on the desktop and go to "Properties", click the "Desktop" tab and click the "Customize Desktop" button. On the "Web" tab if there is anything checked there, please uncheck it. Did this fix your problem?
