Ok, I want to make a bat file to put on each of my computers to make sending messages via net send easier. I have made it like a menu so far, where you click 1 to send "Hi!" to Computer1, 2 to send Hi! to computer2, and so on. I want to know how to make it so when you press one, the following comes up and you just need to type in the message:
net send /domain:computer1 MESSAGE WOULD BE ENTERED HERE

Of course though, when you put just net send /domain:computer1 in a bat file, it would try to execute that as the command, with an error about file sharing is no longer supported. Any ideas on how to allow additions to a command would be appreciated!
Thanks!
[MODS-- If I put this in the wrong section, just move it.]

is this an exercise in programing, or do you just want to do this?

Why not use any number of freeware apps that are more elegant than a batch file
