Hi Tony,
I've been having problems with Winfixer and other spywares and went through all of the fixes and downloads on the Hijack forum. I also loaded the latest Windows update and when I rebooted that's when I got this problem. Thanks, Chris |

It seems that windows was damaged somewhere along the way. Try repair installation as described at the top of this forum. This is the fastest, most thorogh way to fix windows problems.

As far as I remember you can repair windows 2000 just like you repair XP, but I am not sure with that and it might be better to get another advice. Generallty speaking I did it many times with all windows versions and I never had any problem.

Hi Chris.
I was wondering what happens when you right click on the plain blue screen? Do you get a choice like: Show Desktop Icons? Can you click on Properties and add a Desktop background? Or is none of the above working on your computer? Sincerely, Janie |
