Now, start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.

• Under "Script file to execute" choose "Input Script Manually".
• Now click on the Magnifying Glass icon which will open a new window titled "View/edit script"
• Paste the text copied to clipboard into this window by pressing (Ctrl+V).
• Click Done
• Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
• Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.

The Avenger will automatically do the following:

• It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
• On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
• After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
• The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.

• The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
• Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  
  • Now click on the Save as Text button:
• Save the file to your desktop.
• Copy and paste that information in your next post.

While it is scanning, I was thinking. Maybe I should've done the previous two actions in Safe Mode? Maybe then those two viruses would not be failed in deletion?

No it just wouldn't delete with Combofix.
That infection is a little tricky.
Avenger knocked it out though.

It is too big....I attached the text file. Thanks a lot kahdah. If the situation looks too bleak to fix and needs a re-install of Windows, just let me know.

• Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to be Moved" window (under the light blue bar) and choose Paste.
• Click the red Moveit! button.
• OTMoveit2 will create a log of moved files in the C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder. The log's name will appear as the date and time it was created, with the format mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log. Open this log in Notepad and post its contents in your next reply.

Please update your Java:
Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version of Java components and upgrade the application. Beware it is NOT supported for use in 9x or ME and probably will not install in those systems

Ugrading Java:

• Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 update 3.
• Choose Free Java Download
• Close any programs you may have running and follow the prompts.

After that

• Go to Start > Control Panel, double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
• Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
• Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
• Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java version.
• Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.

Now click on Fix Checked and then close Hijackthis.

Time for some housekeeping

• Click START then RUN
• Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK

• Delete the following:
  • ComboFix and its associated files and folders.
  • VundoFix backups, if present
  • The C:\Deckard folder, if present
  • The C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present
• Reset the clock settings.
• Hide file extensions, if required.
• Hide System/Hidden files, if required.
• Clean System Restore points.

Also delete anything that we used that is left over.

Only one more problem, the computer now is very slow and Firefox is way slower than IE, which was vice-versa before (which is also true of all other people's computers that I know of, Firefox being faster than IE). I've removed the anti-virus AVG to see if the speed improves (installed it back afterwards) but to no avail. Can you recommend anything?

Go Here and download CCleaner.
Double click on it to install it.
Click on your language then Next then I agree then next again.
When you come to the Installation options window (the next window after clicking next)
Uncheck all but Create a Desktop Shortcut.
Then Click on Install.

After it is installed double click on the icon on your desktop to run it.
Choose Run Cleaner then yes at the prompt to permanently delete files.
It may take a while so let it finish.

After that Click on the icon to the left called Registry
Then click on scan for issues.
Then click on Fix selected issues.
And then yes to making a backup.
It will save it in your MY Documents Folder.
Then Click on Fix all selected issues and yes that you really want to do it.
After that is done then exit out of CCleaner.

Doing all of these things together should help out the overall speed.

I downloaded CCleaner before and already did it to no effect. However, I'll try doing the refrag and see where it goes. Otherwise, thank you so much for your help, kahdah. The issue is indeed resolved now.

Maybe try to add some ram too that always helps.
