Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a PC that is a little over 1 yr old.
All of a sudden I turned on my PC and I get a blinking cursor in the upper left hand corner.

When the computer starts up it gets past the Bios check and then the blinking cursor comes up.

I see the Bios messages and setup (DEL) when I start.

I see the CPU information and memory information.

I checked the video card and the fan does not spin. Do you think this could be the issue?

I have P5LD2 Motherboard, Asus Video Card

I've tried to reboot from the Windows XP Pro CD.

I get to the part where you can type "R" to repair and it sends me to a c:\
I type dir and I see the folders but I cannot access them.

I do not get any beeps when the PC starts booting up.
I do not see any error messages on the screen either.

Do you have any other troubleshooting tips?
