Both IE & Firefox Issues, Many websites do not show (been for many months)

I get some websites like the one you click to pay clickbank products, statcounter and many many others that I get errors saying "unable to reset website". i have changed browser securities to default and medium risk and still the problem appears, I have IE8 and FF2.16. What else can I do? Your help will be kindly appreciated.
