My CD Drive will either not read the disc or just freeze on me, what do I do?

You can try using a cleaning disk if you dont mind paying half the cost of a dvdrom drive for it. I personally would just buy a new cdrom drive from newegg, or upgrade to a dvdrom drive since they can also read cd's.

A liteon dvdrom costs $20 + shipping.

A lite-on cdrom drive costs $13 + shipping.
