My cpu and page file are running too high. When I check task manager their are programs that I recognize and don't recognize and they are running extremely high causing my cpu to shoot up to 100%. I am a novice and don't know what to do. I have a sony viao with 1gig duo core processor, laptop.

You need to go there before you come here.

If you read the thread there you will see step by step instructions to help fix your problem.

After that if your machine still has problems you can come back here with your HijackThis log.
