I dont know what it is with this game in particualr people seem to think it will work when other games of the same generation wont. This has to be the most post on any game, that doesnt actually have a problem with it, i dont even think BF2 stretched to this much bother and it actually had some bugs. lol.

Hi, I just purchased the game Call of Duty 2 and put the cd into the cd drive and autoplay wouldn't even bring it up, it gave me an error saying:

Exception Exception in module cod2.exe at 0013FC3B.
Error creating object. Please verify that the Microsoft data access components 2.1 (or later) have been properly installed.

I checked my system and Microsoft - Data Access Services (MDAC) SDK (Version 2.7) (2601.0)
is the version I have. All my other games install and load up just fine. Just this one isn't... its brand new out of the case does anyone know what I can do to fix this and get this game installed and working properly?
