At work, we have an SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) folder on our network. There is a Word Template we use to key all new SOPs from, but when we get ready to revise some of the older documents, we find that some of them can be hard to find. We would like to key the path of the file in a header or footer but are unable to find an option to do so. I key an SOP today that demonstrates how to properly reboot our Micros Servers. Next year, we upgrade our Micros software and the SOP needs to be revised. Instead of looking at my old checklist to see the file's path, I have to hunt for it in our SOP folder. If the path to the file was in it's footer, I could go right there, make the change, and print out the revised copy. See what I'm trying to accomplish here? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Oh....we use Office 2007 Pro Plus. Thanks, Magus |

Sorry gang, but I found what I was looking for.
You click Insert Document Part, Field, Filename, and then check the box "Insert Path with Filename". Thanks, Magus |
