I hope I am posting this in the right area (im new here)

Cannot find file :///C:/WINDOWS/privacy_danger/index.htm'. make sure the path or Internet adress is correct.

What does this mean and how is is fixable.

Hello amy r and welcome to Geeks To Go. Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions as set out. That will give you several steps that will help you clean up most of all problems by yourself. At the end of the cleanup process please commence a new thread and post a hijackthis log in the Malware Forum where a Tech will check it and either give you a clean bill of health or advise you of any action to be taken.

Please be patient as the "Malware Forum" is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual.

I trust your problem will be sorted out very soon.
