Download no sound in browsers.reg from here: http://z2.invisionfree.com/ComputerHelp/in...&id=4141692
Double click on the file, and allow registry merge.
Restart computer.

now when i went to youtube and tried to watch a video it is telling me that i either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. but i installed it again and it is saying the same thing. Then i get a little thing telling me that additional plug ins are required. When i click to install them it is saying i need the flash player or something, but it says there are none.

Verify your Java version here: http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
Update, if necessary.
Uninstall all previous Java versions, through Add\Remove.

Then, do this one more time:
Uninstall Flash, using this: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewConten...rnalId=tn_14157
Install fresh copy.

Hmmm....
Next step:
Go Start>Run, type in:
sfc /scannow
Click OK.
Have Windows CD handy.
If System File Checker (sfc) will find any errors, it'll ask you for the CD.
If sfc won't find any errors, it'll simply quit, without any message.
