I have a computer with windows Vista, but when the boot manager starts i have two "Windows Vista" but one of them doesn't work. So i followed these steps trying to remove the Other Windows Vista, and they worked....(continued)

Steps:
*Start... Right-Click Computer... Properties
*Advanced System Settings
*Advanced Tab... Startup and Recovery... Settings
*I unchecked "Time to display List of operating Systems.
*Ok.. Apply... Etc...

*Start... "msconfig"
*Boot Tab... Delete (the non-working one)
*Ok

... After a couple of days, i decided i wanted to install windows XP on my computer, since windows Vista is very slow(although i have 2 GB of RAM), so i have to boot the cd, but not from the OS, so i do as usually for my other computers, Insert CD, Restart, Wait for the "Press any key to boot from Cd..." and Install!!!
So the main problem is:
I can't see the ("Press any key to boot from Cd...") Messege, which means i cant install!!!!

Please help me, does this has to do with the steps i did, i tried reverting them but it did not work....

To see the message you want you first need to have the machine set to boot using your CD drive.

Depending on the machine you will need to access the BIOS settings and make the CD drive as the FIRST boot device.

Some use the DEL key, some F2 some F12 and even other combinations.

This key needs to be pressed while booting and BEFORE Windows loads.

Look at the first boot screen and see if it displays the key identifier that is used to access the BIOS

reboot...and press this key regularly...count 1,2,3,4 press and continue until you have the BIOS screen

Set the BOOT preferences and have the CD insterted and you should have your wishes granted
