Can't Uninstall Panda 2006 Antivirus..

I downloaded the free trial of Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware, and now the 30 days are up and it won't uninstall. I searched the forum for answers to this problem, but they all were for removing 2005. It also seemed that everyone had tried their own ways of trying to uninstall it, so the directions for uninstall didn't work for me. I tried a few different posts instructions and didn't get anywhere. Here is the message I get when I try to use the uninstall feature:

Click start then run, type msconfig then press enter then start up, look for any entries for the programme, remove the ticks, click apply then reboot

Done. There is nothing there for Panda. Also, thanks for the quick responce!

If you click start then search, include hidden and system files, look for Panda, how many files are there

I also have the Panda Active Scan installed, so if you count that then there are 15.

Send all of them to the recycle bin, check there isn't anything which empties the bin when you restart, then reboot

Run disc clean up then check for Panda again, you should only see those in the recycle bin

What are you replacing it with

I already have a corporate edition of Norton installed which will be the anti-virus I will use instead of Panda.


These files did not go the bin..access denied:

Folder: Panda Software ...location C:\Program Files
Folder: Panda Software...location C:\Program Files\Common Files
Folder: Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware...location C:\Program Files\Panda Software
File: Panda.chp...location C:\Program Files\Panda Software\Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware

Install Unlocker from my signature, install unlocker assistant and set it to run when windows loads, reboot and check you have a wand in the taskbar then try to remove the remaining files. Unlocker should pop up and offer you choices from a drop down menu, choose delete

Yes, then the program popped up. I chose delete, and restarted. I also ran disk clean up. They are still there.

When the program tried to delete them, it said that they could not be deleted.

Browse for or drag the files in to the box
