Can't open any malware removal programs

New Member Posts: 3 OS: XP	I have ad-aware, and microsoft antispyware, and hijack this, and norton antivirus installed on my computer. However I can't open any of them nor can I open most of my other programs: firefox, IE. I can open Netscape which is the only way I seem to be able to reach the internet. I can open Quicken and Quickbooks by going through "my computer" but not from the "start" menu or their "desktop" icons. When I download new programs I cannot launch them. I have considered reformating my hard drive but I have an HP pavillion computer that didn't included any disks to reinstall Windows and I'm not sure if Windows would remain after reformatting. Any suggestions?
