:help:I'm trying to start up my old computer. My son added another harddrive and it got so slow we couldn't do anything with it. So we took the 2nd harddrive out and now it won't boot with a startup disk.
I've got old pictures that I want to save and my Diablo game that I sure hate to lose on that computer.
I've tried C:/scandisk/all/surface and my drive has no errors

Well I've tried everything! when it goes through sys scan it doesn't detect my c drive, mouse, keyboard, etc.
I get a message that says : Windows 98 has detected that Drive C does not contain a valid FAT or FAT32 Partition.
So I tried fdisk and it says: NO FIXED DISK FOUND

Can anyone tell me how to start up this computer. I have a boot disk, startup disk, Windows 98 disk and nothing works!
